This kit includes all necessary products to help install, clean, protect and maintain the system. This helps safeguard long term efficiency, reduces running costs, and supports the ongoing reliability of the heat pump. By ensuring the system is correctly prepared and protected from day one, the kit helps maximise heat transfer, prevent corrosion, minimise sludge build up, and prolong system lifespan. Usage
Installation Sequence Always refer back to the Air Source Heat Pump Manufacturer’s instructions when installing or making any changes. Isolation Valves are connected to both the Inlet and Outlet ports of the Air Source Heat Pump unit. Anti-Freeze Valves are connected to Isolation Valves. Angled Hoses connected to the Anti-Freeze valves and to the internal pipes of the property. Extra insulation is provided to surround both the Anti-Freeze valves and the Isolation Valves.
System Cleaning and Protection Always refer back to Sentinel individual product information for full application, connection and safety instructions. Connect the V700 Filter in accordance with the installation instructions supplied with the unit. Ensure all fittings, seals, and flow directions are correctly configured as per the guidelines. Once all components are fully installed and the system pipework is correctly connected, proceed to the system cleaning and protection steps below. Add Sentinel X800 Fast Acting Cleaner to the system. Allow it to circulate for at least 1 Hour. After treatment, thoroughly flush the system. Add Sentinel X100 Inhibitor to provide long term protection against corrosion, limescale, and system degradation. Add Sentinel X700 Biocide to help reduce or eliminate bacteria and microbial growth within the system. Fully circulate the system to distribute both X100 and X700 evenly throughout.
