Sentinel Flushing Adaptor

The Sentinel Flushing Adaptor is designed to allow easier connection to Sentinel filters for most flushing devices.
The Sentinel Flushing Adaptor easily connects to the T-Piece of the Vortex300, 500 and 700 filters allowing a flushing device to be used on a domestic heating system. Using appropriate camlocks to attach the hoses you can be assured of a secure and easy connection.

Description
The Sentinel Flushing Adaptor is ideal to connect flushing devices to the Sentinel Filter Range (V300, V500 and V700).

Usage
1. Close shut off valves to isolate the T-Piece from the water supply. Remove filter body and apply a small amount of silicone grease to the inside of the bore. 2. Place the flushing adaptor into the T piece collar ensuring it clicks into place and then tighten the collar. 3. Connect the inlet and outlet hoses according to the arrows embossed into the adaptor (Downwards is into the flushing device and upwards is the return into the adaptor). Appropriate 1” female Camlock fittings should be attached to the hoses prior to connection.
Use good quality hose clamps and be aware these may need re-tightening when hot.
When connecting to the Vortex700 please reverse the inlet and outlet connections: due to the unique design of the Vortex700 these are in the opposite orientation.
