This product is a concentrated version of Sentinel R500 Heat Transfer Fluid. Designed for use in ground source heat pump equipment, Sentinel R500C Concentrated Heat Transfer Fluid provides frost protection and minimises corrosion, scale and deposition. This product helps reduce the costs of ground source heat pump system operation. It provides exceptional thermal transfer, superior protection against corrosion and deposits and resistance to degradation. It also contains a biocide to help to control the growth of bacteria in a sanitised system.
Use in conjunction with the Sentinel FrostCheck Test Kit to confirm proper installation and maintenance of ground source heat pump systems.
Using R500 Heat Transfer Fluid:
Before filling the ground loop, Sentinel R500C Concentrated Heat Transfer Fluid should be pre-diluted with town mains water in a ratio of one part Sentinel R500C Concentrated Heat Transfer Fluid to a maximum of nine parts water. The extent of dilution depends upon the desired frost protection; please refer to the dilution table below.
|Frost Protection (°C)|
|R500C (% volume)||50||45||40||35||30||25||20||15||10|
|Water (% volume)||50||55||60||65||70||75||80||85||90|
Please note: Sentinel R500C Concentrated Heat Transfer Fluid must not be mixed with other heat transfer fluids.
