Job Description
Sentinel are looking for an experienced Area Sales Manager to join our UK domestic sales team, covering London & The South East region.

With a core focus on specification led sales through Social Housing Landlords, this role engages with all customer types in the Plumbing and Heating sector including contactors and private installers. Selling through the National & Independent Merchant channel, you will be tasked with developing relationships with merchant sales team members and OEM’s (original equipment manufacturers) to build your network and develop new business. Experience of OTC sales with small installers also useful, with merchant branch visits to pull through OTC business.

You will utilise your career experience to manage and fully develop a structured sales plan designed to maximise new and existing business and to drive profitable sales growth for Sentinel.

The successful candidate will already have experience over the last 3-5 years selling into similar customer types and bring with them a proven history of new business development and managing existing business. 

In a Covid sales environment we will be looking for evidence of engaging and selling to customers remotely (by phone/video call) and working in an environment where face to face customer contact may be limited over time.

The role will be home based, with mobile phone and laptop provided.
